Phil Chalmers has been writing books, studying youth culture and speaking nationwide since 1985. Phil has a passion to guide teens toward a more positive, healthy and safe lifestyle. Phil has appeared in many media outlets, including the Montel Williams Show and the Howard Stern Show. He has interacted with many personalities, including Jessica Simpson, Insane Clown Posse, 2 Live Crew, Metallica, Charles Manson, David "Son of Sam" Berkowitz, and A&E's The First 48 Joe Schillaci.

He is the author of several books and documentaries, including "Can You Handle The Truth", "True Lies", "Music To Die For" and "I Don't Listen To The Lyrics Handbook". His latest book, released on May 5, 2009 is titled "Inside the Mind of a Teen Killer", Phil's 15 year study on juvenile homicide and school violence.
