He is the author of several books, including "Inside the Mind of a Teen Killer" and "The Teen Killer Whisperer." He has been researching homicide and interviewing offenders for over 35 years. He has interviewed over 500 killers, including teen killers, school shooters, mass murderers and serial killers. Most recently, he is interviewing and researching those who have raped, kidnapped and killed real estate agents. He is also publishing a book about violence how to prevent acts of violence against those who work in the real estate industry, as well as equipping readers with marketing strategies and tools to dominate the market.
 
Phil and his wife Wendi live in Northeast Ohio. When they aren't researching and writing books, they travel around the country and conduct live seminars to various groups and organizations, including law enforcement, school employees, court, juvenile justice and social service personnel, and real estate professionals.
