Welcome to the #1 true crime podcast on the planet.
We don't just talk about serial killers. We talk to them.
We get the “real” story, directly from the mouths of the offenders.
The driving force behind this podcast is to hear the Killers' motivations in their own words,
and understand the causes that compel them to cross the line from fantasy to murder.
Phil & Wendi Chalmers
Where The Bodies Are Buried is a weekly true crime podcast for true crime fans, criminal justice students, and all those whose job it is to apprehend monsters. Unlike the other true crime podcasts that talk about true crime, serial killers, and the latest crime shows, we talk directly to the offenders, serial killers, mass murderers, and school shooters, and we bring you along for the ride.
Our host Phil gets the first-hand account, the “real” story, directly from the mouths of the offenders. He asks the questions everyone secretly wants to ask, but rarely dares. The questions he asks create an interview that is edgy, intriguing, and raw. He taps these offender’s minds for the explanations behind their methods, mindset, and motivations. Phil has a “gift” for getting offenders to open up and divulge information never heard before. We have even had some confess to unsolved murders that have led the team to undiscovered victims. These crime details are rarely ever explored and reported by the media, which makes this podcast unique in today’s true crime podcast arena.
At the end of the day, we are not fans of serial killers. We understand the destruction and pain that heinous crimes bring to the victims and their families. The driving force behind this podcast is to hear the offenders in their own words so that we gain an understanding of what compels them to cross the line from fantasy to murder. That in turn allows us to fulfill the ultimate goal of this podcast, which is to help stop violence. With that mission in mind, we proactively share all the details from the interviews with detectives and investigators to help curtail and stop monstrous acts of violence.
